Buffalo, New York (October 6, 2010) - Toon Radio announces the acquisition of Cartoon Carnival. The internet radio station Toon Radio (toonradio.net) has picked up Cartoon Carnival with Joe Bev for broadcast on its audio stream. Toon Radio will begin airing the show Friday October 8 at 9 pm Eastern. Cartoon Carnival will then run every Friday at 9 pm Easter, with an encore presentation on Mondays at 10 am Eastern.
Cartoon Carnival with Joe Bev, The first radio cartoon show ever, is hosted by Joe Bevilacqua. As the protege of cartoon voice legend Daws Butler (Yogi Bear), the veteran award-winning broadcaster (NPR, XM Radio) Joe Bevilacqua is no stranger to the cartoon world. "The Cartoon Carnival Halloween Spookatular II" - Guest host Wilfred Graves returns for a second year to present this two-hour special, which will include Joe Bevilacqua and Lorie Kellogg in "A Halloween Happening" by Daws Butler (2010), "A Different Take on Halloween" by Pedro Pablo Sancristan (2010), and Joe Bev. as Harold Peary in "The Attack of the Creepy Crawly Things from Outer Space" (2004), plus June Foray as Witch Hazel and Mel Blanc as Bugs Bunny in the Warner Brother's cartoon "A Witch's Tangled Hare" (1959).
