CAKE Goes Digital in Latin America

CAKE signs a VOD deal with DLA bringing eight properties, including Poppy Cat and Skunk-Fu!, to Latin America

Leading kids’ and family entertainment distributor CAKE announced a substantial deal with DLA for a large package of shows, increasing their properties visibility on digital platforms.

Eight properties in total have been taken on by the leading VOD platform developer in Latin America. CAKE has granted non-exclusive SVOD rights covering the whole of Latin America and Brazil, in Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and English.

Included in the deal are kung-fu kicking Skunk-Fu!, pre-school explorers Tiny Planets and adventurous Poppy Cat, and the first two series of animated reality TV parody Total Drama - Total Drama Island and Total Drama Actio n. Rounded out with the ancient tales of Aesop’s Theater, ghostly fun with Dead Gorgeous and teen drama Aifric.

The package highlights CAKE’s constant ongoing exploration of different territories and mediums. DLA have taken on a diverse selection of the CAKE catalogue, tasting an array of what the family friendly distributor have to offer.
