The BeFilm Mid-Winter Special Animation Program, hosted by director Signe Baumane, to include some masterful animation from Europe never before seen in America.
If you’re in New York tonight, you might want to change your plans. Animation fans are in for a treat with the BeFilm Mid-Winter Special Animation Program, hosted by Rocks In My Pockets director Signe Baumane.
The event will include some masterful animation from Europe never before seen in America. (Last year’s screening included Daniel Sousa’s Oscar-nominated short film, Feral.)
Bill Plympton will be hand to show some secret new footage along with his new Simpsons couch gag. Quite a few New York animators will present their brand-new work, including Jaime Ekkens, Morgan Miller, John Lustig, Liesjie Kraai and Richard O'Connor, all of whom are sharpening their wits and twisting their tongues in preparation for your grilling questions. Last but not least, Andy London will present a Felix Masie film he did a voiceover for.
