Annecy 2025 Official Short Film Selections Announced

Out of the 3,900 films submitted from around 100 countries, 72 films from 33 countries were selected to compete: 36 in the Official category, 9 in the Off-Limits category, 17 in the Perspectives category, and 10 in the Young Audiences category.

The 2025 Annecy Festival has unveiled the official selection of short films in competition for the 49th edition, which runs June 8-14. Out of the 3,900 films submitted from around 100 countries, 72 films from 33 countries were selected to compete in this year’s edition.

36 films will compete in the Official category, 9 in the Off-Limits category, 17 in the Perspectives category, and 10 in the Young Audiences category.
