Greetings!
I've been developing and idea for an animated series based around "Flop," a quirky character who perpetually fails at everything -- except giving up. Production would be either 2D traditional, or stop-motion animation. I made a rather sophisticated puppet version of Flop several years ago, and I finally have time to revisit the initial concept.
The first installment of the series would be about 2 and a half minutes long and have the working title "Flop Bakes a Cake." I've drawn some ROUGH storyboards and cvompiled them into an animatic to get a feel for timing and flow of the narrative. I've also created an accompanying musical track by splicing together several classical pieces.
Please take a moment to watch the animatic, and I kindly welcome any and all constructive criticism. Turning this into a polished animated short would be very time-consuming, and I'm trying to decide if it's a worthwhile investment!
