Questions to ask client before taking the job

Do you guys have a list of questions you normally ask a client when they request an explainer video for their business? I'm fairly new to this business and several times I found myself in the situation where clients aren't sure what they want, which doesn't make things easier for me.

I would like to avoid asking all the unnecessary questions before I get hired.

Can you give me an advice or share your experience with someone who is starting up?
