National Women's History Month

I started a Black History Month thread and I just noticed (18 days late, sorry) that March is National Women's History Month. So, I thought I could start a thread for notable women animators or women in animation.

I'd like to start with three that I've met or know.

Linda Simensky is a legend in animation television. When she was the head of original animation at Nickelodeon, she brought us Ren and Stimpy, Doug and Rugrats. When she was the head of original animation at Cartoon Network (when I met her!), her leadership brought us Dexter's Laboratory, Johnny Bravo and The Powerpuff Girls. Recently, she is the head of original animation at PBS. She's apparently working her magic again with the hit show Word Girl.

Lee Crowe is a very talented animator. We've seen her talents in such projects including "Cool World", "The Little Mermaid", "The Rescuers Down Under", "Space Jam", "King of the Hill", "Family Guy" and "Osmosis Jones".

Nancy Beiman is also a talented animator. She has worked on projects including "Fantasia 2000" and "Hercules".

Please sound off with any notable female animators!
