 hey hey Rozzco back with anoter question!!! Wat about sets? would you suggest a digitaly painted background / floor? would you suggest maybe like a painted show box? or maybe two canvases ( one for the floor and one for backround? wat do you use for 3D animation?
http://media.putfile.com/Figures-2 ( hmm this may take a few seconds to load, sorry for jumpy camera! and doggy photo shop laser :P haha) and way this backround was in my garden obvouisly :)
http://media.putfile.com/Figures-piss-about65 ( haha sorry bout slow frame rate in this one! ) The background here was in my bedroom obvouisly!
http://media.putfile.com/My-Great-Movie6739 ( hee hee i like this one :) ) any way this one the background is my living room
http://media.putfile.com/muck-about - This background is the table in my room!
All of the above files are my own, all of them had sound to go along with it but it was takeing for ever to upload so i cut all the music off!
You see i would like to make a profesional background that i could do like maybe out in woodland and so on!
Crits on movies are fine but most of them are just tests :D
Sorry but there is not a patented answer. I am on the bottom end of the learning curve, but I feel sure that the others here will be saying much the same thing. It all depends on what you are doing, what look are you going for, the demands of your script and what works with your style of drawing.
so wat do you suggest? i bought some more plasticene today :) do you recon i should maybe like . . . make a wall out of plasticen for the backround then for the floor just carve linen so it looks like paving?
wow well i dont have parrafin availble to me right now! and shops are shut on sundays :D haha! im not aiming big im jsut aiming to make somethign coolish! :D and thats wat i seet to do :) i got a plain table in my kitchen thats gonna be it! . . . and plasticene / modleing clay is my resource of character i think i may even make armatures for them haha ( never tried armatures before ) im jsut gonna try it enought talk has taken place im gonna give it a bash :P :)
hmm it isnt really plasticene ts actually modeling clay type stuff you can bake in the oven and it goes hard? is this any good? i though it wouldve just cracked if you tried to move it ?
yea later on today im gonna try makeng a few diffrent types of armature with diffrent wire and diffrent thigns ive had a few ideas , like little bits of wood for the big joints ( i.e shoulders ) then simply pushign wire into it but that will limit movement! also little bits of plastic and maybe model clue to connect wire to it! i also have millions of paper clips that go to waste sitting in a corner for a year or two so i might even use that as the "Wire" insted of my dads wire from his tool box  haha
Oh and btw :S do u mean candle wax by parraffin?
hmm i have loads of cxandles n stuff like "candle making kit" lieing about the hous do u just melt the wax around the wiire or . . . ? and can u suggest something for the joints apart from soldering as i may be too young to get a blow torch  although it would be nice ;)
Im 17. . . oh right i was just mentioning the blow torch as you mentioned soldering  well i probably can't get anything at all done till next week end this week is gonna be pretty hectic ive got mock exams in 3 weeks so gotta study/ homework/ im gonna be on radio with my band / ive got a gig on friday/ a recording studio on wedensday! wish i had sometime this week to animate :( i might have a spare 30 mins but thats hardl anythign with animation i might just fool about with wire and so on! haha thanks for all you're help mate :) its been great!
