For some reason, recreations that I've seen lately look like really good portfolio pieces, and yours are no different. Try not to get in the habit of doing this all of the time though. If an employer suspects that you copied a master's work, you might not get the job....on the other hand, if you do it REALLY well, you can tell him the truth and that will make you look even better.
Tough call
Keep up with the hands and hard to do features of drawing people. If there's something that you find that you're not good at, , I'm betting that there are a lot of people that can't do the same thing. I (personally) would look for the hard stuff if I were hiring you...But I can't because I'm just a broke aminator.
You've come a long way in the last few weeks since I saw your earlier stuff.
Thanks Madaman, I have been drawing like crazy trying to get a portfolio together, but it is not for a job. I am doing this to get accepted to the Ringling Computer Animation program. I tend to be better at drawing from reference then my life studies, but I think almost everybody is that way. I want to have my portfolio finished by the end of September and drive down there to Sarasota, see an admissions rep, hand in my paperwork and show off my portfolio. The earlier the better. I only have one shot at this and I don't want to miss it on account of them already filling the limited spots. More drawings to come...stay tuned.

Hey Hett15
If you are having trouble with Hands at all (it does not look like it in the last Drawings you posted) I can say that a Book called "Drawing real hands!" By Lee Hammond is really great.
Even if you feel you can draw them good some of the tips in the book I found helpfull.
What kind of students do they take at Ringling anyway? I only know one personally at School of Visual Arts, NYC...and I don't even know him that well. He is though (the guy I'm talking about) one of the best animators in school.
You've got some great stuff Hett. I really like the multiple portraits of Walt. Personally, I like to remember him best in a cryo-tube frozen until the imagineers find a cure for death.
I'm confident you won't need to pray in order to get into Ringling:)
Great work Hett15
