I've been away from this forum for quite some time and to be honest i don't reconise any of the current names floating around - SO HI ALL!
I just thought I'd post my new website and hopeful there's enough kind souls out there who will take the time to have a look and provide me with some genuine feedback - good or bad!

Checked out your site-nice stuff. Are you an animator as well? I can envision the character from your 'rap' comic in a series of quirky, animated escapades. I can relate to your overweight pets illustration, I've got a FAT DOG!
A bit off-topic, I noticed you post from Belfast, I spent my junior year of college in Cork City. I attended University College, Cork and Crawford School of Art there. What a beautiful place! :)

I do a bit of animation(I'm really teaching myself) and funny you should mention the little character in my comic because I'm working on an animation with him as the main character and he will be up to all kinds of no good!
nice to hear you were in Cork - yes a great city - plenty of crack as we say here in Belfast ( means: Fun! just in case you have never heard that one before :)
all in all, how long did you stay here, Bird16? Do you think it proved useful for your chosen vocation?

I was in Cork for my full Junior Year, then went back for a month my Senior Year. I think the environment influenced both my philosophy of life (because I really had never been outside my home state of Minnesota, let alone the US), it made me much more inquisitive about the whole world and that, in turn, made me appreciate many artforms. At the time, I wasn't studying animation, but painting. I took liberal arts courses at University College, Cork to better understand your beautiful culture, and studio courses at Crawford School of Art. The whole experience still resonates through my work. In practical terms, part of my current animated project takes place in west Ireland under the Paps of Anu , Dublin, and Belfast.
Enough about me! Please continue to keep me and the rest of the forum informed of your progress. I'd love to see the animation your working on! :) :)
