The NAB Show is the world's largest professional digital media industry convention. The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has been hosting this event for over 80 years for all traditional broadcast, entertainment and emerging platform industries, including TV, Radio, Film, Internet and many others.

Established in 1955, PROMAX is the world's premier body for promotion and marketing professionals working in electronic and broadcast media. BDA is the world's leading association of broadcast and multimedia designers. With a membership of over 4,000 companies and individuals drawn from more than 65 countries, and with conferences taking place in Europe, Arabia, Africa, the U.S., Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America and the U.K., Promax/BDA is a truly international organization uniting the individuals who will pioneer tomorrow's electronic and broadcast media.

Scheduled from April 1-3, CTIA WIRELESS 2008 is located at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year's CTIA show, titled "Wireless & You," will present the convergence of more than 1,100 exhibiting companies, dozens of industries, and over 40,000 professionals from 125 countries all working toward the common goal of revolutionizing wireless.

The Tokyo International Anime Fair (known as "TAF") is held every spring at Tokyo Big Sight. The exhibition features a trade fair with booth exhibits by anime-related companies, events including spectacular stage performances and film screenings/displays, and the Tokyo Anime Awards, in which outstanding anime works are presented with awards. Every year the exhibition attracts people throughout the world. TAF 2007 featured exhibits by 270 companies (55 from overseas) and welcomed a record 107,713 visitors over the four days of the event.

Cinematheque Ontario's spring season runs from March 27 to May 10, 2008. Advance tickets are on sale to members now.

Cinematheque Ontario's Spring Season treats audiences to a line-up featuring impressive retrospectives, exclusive limited runs and special events. Beginning March 27, the season offers a retrospective on Josef von Sternberg, Richard Leacock in person presenting Norman Mailer's underground classic MAIDSTONE, and a compelling collection of films from Romania.

Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FICCI) hosts FRAMES, Asia's biggest convention on the business of entertainment. FRAMES every year is inaugurated by the Indian Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting and the government both at the federal and state level participates in it actively. FRAMES is a congregation of more than 1,500 professionals from global media and entertainment giants. The areas that its focus on are animation, gaming, digital film making, special effects, convergence, motion pictures, music, radio, broadcast etc.

The 2008 Media Summit New York is the definitive international conference for media, entertainment and technology leaders. The Media Summit is presented by The McGraw-Hill Companies, co-sponsored by BUSINESSWEEK and Standard & Poor's and produced by Digital Hollywood. The event will occur at McGraw-Hill's headquarters, 1221 Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan.

Sell Your TV Concept Now, Inc. is offering the opportunity for students within the field of TV arts to receive the Hit Makers Summit Scholarship. Three spots are available for the March 2008 Hit Makers Summit at Universal Studios Orlando, which includes the full fee for Summit registration, valued at $1,447, and parking at the theme park. Students are responsible for their transportation to/from the Summit. This program provides a tremendous hands-on experience for students to develop and pitch their own TV shows and to interact with veteran TV professionals.

The joint conference highlights three days of informative technical sessions on the latest technologies, including issues on IPTV, digital content quality, acquisition and distribution, as well as hot topics such as streaming media and podcasting.
