In commemoration of the Centennial of American Animation, ASIFA-Hollywood presents BEFORE WALT, a documentary showcase produced and narrated by Ray Pointer.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of animated cartoons. While the concept is as old as time, the most important advancements were made in the United States during the 20th Century. And without question, the three most important figures of this period were Winsor McCay, Max Fleischer, and Walt Disney.
