MJ Productions is hosting a three-class workshop on voice acting for kids. Students will learn how to bring the best of themselves to the copy and into the recording booth. Topics will cover: how to do commercial and animation voice over and singing, voice stretching techniques, breathing and relaxation, mic techniques, visualization, cold readings and demos. MJ Lallo will cover acting for animation with GUNDAM FORCE voice actress Deborah Sales Butler teaching commercial voice over and radio and TV commercials performer Pat De Stefano teaching singing. The cost is $185 if pre-registered and paid by Feb. 16. The class is also payable in two installments: $110 -- non-refundable deposit and $110.00 -- balance on the second week of the course. The class will run each Saturday from 10 am to noon.
