ASIFA-Hollywood will be holding a special event to celebrate the publication of a new book on the history of Disney, MOUSE TRACKS. The book chronicles the 50-year history of the Disney recording companies launched by Walt Disney and Roy Disney in the mid-1950s, when Disneyland Park, Davy Crockett, and the Mickey Mouse Club were taking the world by storm. The book provides a perspective on all-time Disney favorites and features anecdotes, reminiscences and biographies of the artists who brought Disney magic to audio.
Authors Tim Hollis and Greg Ehrbar will be there in person to discuss this work and display rare recordings. The event will begin at 7:00 pm at the Glendale Central Library, 222 E. Harvard Street, Glendale, California. This special meeting is open to all members of ASIFA-Hollywood and their guests. Validated parking is available across the street (E. Harvard St) at the parking structure (ticket must be validated at the library).
