Help finding books / resources for dissertation

Hello!

This is my first post on this forum.

I'm a Fine Art student in England who has decided to write his dissertation on the subject of animation. My research question or thesis is initially going to be 'Is animation a viable medium for exploring real-world themes?'

Does anyone have any advice on books or any other resources that cover the theme of animation that deals with realistic themes, or about the psychology of caricature... is there something inerrant in the caricatured form that makes it 'childlike'?

Thanks for reading,

Nick

I think you got excited when you decided to write your dissertation on your own. After all, there are many people who can help students with writing. For example, a team of writers at essay writing uk, who will write your paper work with high quality and quickly. I think it would be smarter.

Check out "The Illusion of Life" by Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston. It's a classic for animation stuff. Also, "Understanding Animation" by Paul Wells dives into the psychology behind caricature. Both could be right up your alley for your dissertation.
