hosting your videos - Options ?

well not specifically an animation question but the motivation is putting an animation clip out there.

i was wondering if there were sort of white label services out there that allowed you to host a high quality video which you could then embed into pages (own site, other links elsewhere, other pages)

i have come across a bunch but most of them have logos (a la, youtube) on the video, which is not what i am trying to go for.

alternative is to upload a video and then stream it but if even if i have 100 people watching the clip in a month, it will add up in terms of bandwidth cost.

so essentially i was hoping it would be possible to do this (i remember brightcove i think, that even allowed you to upload you own logo to personalise the video/channel)

Not an issue if you get a web host that offers unlimited bandwidth. I don't want to spam so shop around.

Using and outputting your animations into Flash is another alternative. Lots of free sites out there to showcase your animation if you don't want to pay for the hosting of your works yourself.

Basically, the more control you demand for delivery and quality of presentation for your stuff the more it's going to cost you.

When my ISP of six years closed down I went looking for a new host. I finally settled on 110megs . You might give them a look. So far so good.

Streaming audio and video is allowed. You get 300 gigs of bandwidth a month. That should be enough to get you off the ground.
