where are all the threads?
When I open Animation Cafe (which should have over 4000 posts over 34,000 replies), I only see 22 threads & no option to see another page. What's going on here?
I posted about this earlier....plenty of views but no replies.

Im getting my associates in Visual communications.
In school we had a very basic flash class just to present our portfolio.
However on my free time I want to start making animated shorts.
Heres my 2 second short that needs a lot of work.

I made a storyboard. And Personally this one was a test see if I could upload it and make it get the general idea down.
Im going to working on my animations in photoshop to make them look pixelated.

Hello. My name is Paul (boring name, yes, but there are many great people with the name Paul; take Paul Revere for example). I just want to say that I really like the art that is animation. I didn't join this forum to brag about my drawing skills (I have very little; the best thing that I ever drew was an ornate vace, and I lost that within a week after I drew it) or boast about my painting achievements (which I have none since I have never really painted anything before). In fact, I have joined this forum/bulliten board to learn from whoever is willing to teach me.

Hey guys n gals. so, i'm already a student, but i'm at a difficult point now. As many others are. A lot of my friends are leaving the school complaining about cost and how they don't feel the courses are effective. Well, they're not even finished with the first year. I personally feel I don't have room to base that kinda of judgement, especially in pursuit of an Animation degree. While they're only going for graphics design or game design (offered at state universities and local community colleges).

I am Vikram. I am interested in animation production. I tried to get the details that I am looking for on net, but could not find it.
I am interested in 2d animation with flash or any other tool/software.
What I want to know is once we have animation created with a software on our computer/PC
1> how do we merge the animation with the sound. I will have to take the service of a recording studio where the entire script's dialogues will be recorded (in which format? .wav, .mp3?)

Free BVH Movements

Hi all. These BVH movements are completely free and can be imported directly into most animation software to give some funky movements to characters you've created. You do need to register but there is no cost or trial period. There are useful standard movements (stand, walk etc) as well as some funky ones like guitar playing and fighting. I would highly recommend "kick in balls".
They come direct from Animazoo, a leading motion capture specialist. :D

DVD burning

Hello all,
I am trying to burn my demoreel and student film onto a DVD but I know very little about encoding, compression settings etc. for the most reliable output to DVD. Right now, I only have access to iDVD
How should I export my film from AfterEffects to bring into iDVD to burn? I'm trying MPEG-2 DVD, but I don't know what bitrate settings are the best. If not MPEG-2 DVD, what else can I use?
Would really appreciate your help on this.

Hi! I'm a 13 year old Lukas, and I like drawing a lot (especially anime/manga). I wanna try to learn some animation, except with out computer programs, I think it's more fun using post it notes and such 8D
Insperational animations on TV right now to me are, Adventure time and the regular show.
I like using words like rad and funky, it makes everything more fun : D
