As my experience with animation continues to grow, I just wanted to share my latest creation. This is the first time I've allowed myself to take as much time as needed to really render each drawing, as I've been finding that animation is inevitably very time consuming. The more we embrace this inevitability, the more creative freedom we have, and the more captivating our work becomes:

Check out my experimental animation technique, motion through stickers. Hand drawn animation, converted into stickers, and stuck around the streets. Each sticker has a QR code, so passers by can scan and see this video.

A short stickman fight animation with anime inspired fight choreography. The idea behind this animation was that every single scene was rotoscoped from 2D animation into 3D animation, by implementing and transitioning as many scenes from different types of anime as possible.

Here is my first fully hand-drawn animated short, titled "Paga Blows a Bubble."

Many tedious hours yielded this 30-second narrative, and boy, I loved every moment of it! Such is the nature of animation, right? The short depicts a highly stylized caricature of my dad as he blows some bubbles. He's know as "Paga" to my niece Alessia (she just turned 3), by whom this is inspired, and to whom it's dedicated.
I animated Link (Zelda) and Samus (Metroid) playing basketball against each other.

Hello again!
After a loooong ~6 month of work, I am finally finished my biggest animation project to date. It is a story about a World War 2-era dogfight between a Spitfire a Messerschmitt Bf-109. I still have much to learn, and due to the length of the video (4.5m mins) there are some scenes that could have been a little more detailed.
I kept it pretty historically accurate and realistic (minus some stylistic choices here and there), although it does get very surreal halfway through.

I've been developing and idea for an animated series based around "Flop," a quirky character who perpetually fails at everything -- except giving up. Production would be either 2D traditional, or stop-motion animation. I made a rather sophisticated puppet version of Flop several years ago, and I finally have time to revisit the initial concept.
