Fest Anča 2025 Announces Official Film Selections
A record-breaking 1,800 animated short films from 83 countries were submitted, with 218 chosen by the pre-selection committee; the festival returns to Žilina, Slovakia June 24-29.
A record-breaking 1,800 animated short films from 83 countries were submitted, with 218 chosen by the pre-selection committee; the festival returns to Žilina, Slovakia June 24-29.
Out of 1,340 film submissions from 71 countries, 206 films were selected to participate in this year’s event; The Slovak Republic’s only multimedia festival focused on animation runs June 25-30.
Almost 230 films were selected to participate in this year’s event, including original contemporary domestic and international animation featuring films by renowned filmmakers and young emerging talent; the event runs June 29-July 7.
2021 edition, taking place July 1-4 in Slovakia, is now accepting submissions for animated short films, student films, music videos, and films for children.
2019 edition, taking place June 27-30 in Slovakia, is now accepting submissions for animated short films, student films, music videos and films for children.
With a focus on focus on Balkan animation, Slovakian animation festival to host The Quay Brothers and Steven Woloshen at its ninth edition running June 29 through July 3, 2016.
