Viacom Appoints Lisa Silverman Meyers

Viacom International Media Networks appoints Lisa Silverman Meyers to the role of Senior Vice President of Operations and Business Planning for Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products.

NEW YORK/LONDON –

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has appointed Lisa Silverman Meyers to the role of Senior Vice President of Operations and Business Planning for Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP). In this role, Silverman Meyers will oversee all of NVCP’s systems and processes management and take a leading role in strategic business planning, operations and analysis.

Silverman Meyers joins VIMN from Nickelodeon Consumer Products’ US division where she most recently served as Senior Vice President, Online Retail Development and DTR. She will be based in New York and reports directly to Ron Johnson, Executive Vice President, NVCP.

“Since 2006, Lisa’s impressive track record in Consumer Products reflects her first-hand knowledge of the industry, our brands and opportunities in the marketplace,” commented Johnson. “Her extensive expertise in retail and operations will be a great asset as we continue to grow our international consumer product business.”

Silverman Meyers will work in partnership with NVCP’s regional heads, brand management, retail, promotions, recreation and finance, as well as partners to optimize and leverage marketplace opportunities and to better serve clients.

Silverman Meyers joined Nickelodeon in 2001 as the Director of eCommerce and Business Development, where she launched Nick’s first eCommerce site and developed online Nick Games through various portals and gaming sites. She has had a series of roles within the digital group and the domestic consumer products group. She was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2009.

Silverman Meyers graduated with an Honors B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a M.B.A from the Wharton School of Business.
