Shout! Factory and Hasbro Studios enter home entertainment distribution alliance for highly anticipated new movie adventure, ‘My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Legend of Everfree.
LOS ANGELES -- Shout! Factory and Hasbro Studios have announced a strategic distribution agreement to bring the new installment of the My Little Pony Equestia Girls film series, My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Legend of Everfree to the home entertainment market in the U.S. and Canada. The collectible Blu-ray + DVD combo pack and DVD release of My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Legend of Everfree will debut on home entertainment shelves everywhere November 1, 2016.
The multi-year alliance provides Shout! Factory with exclusive home entertainment packaged media rights (Blu-ray and DVD) and select digital rights to My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Legend of Everfree. A full-range of exciting bonus content and specialty packaging are in development. Shout! Factory plans a strategic launch of this animated feature on Blu-ray and DVD through Shout’s kids & family entertainment imprint, Shout! Factory Kids.

My Little Pony Equestria Girls Legend of Everfree follows Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy and friends as they embark on a new adventure to camp! When Canterlot High School goes on a field trip to Camp Everfree, they’re surprised to find a magical force is causing strange things to happen. With the help of the Mane 6 and especially Sunset Shimmer (who refuses to give up on her), Twilight Sparkle must confront the dark “Midnight Sparkle” within herself and embrace her newfound magical abilities to save the camp.
My Little Pony Equestria Girls Legend of Everfree is directed by Ishi Rudell and boasts the My Little Pony voice talent of Tara Strong, Ashleigh Ball, Andrea Libman, Tabitha St. Germain, Cathy Weseluck, and Rebecca Shoichet.
