Retired Disney veterans Bill Matthews and Ken Southworth will be thespecial guest instructors at VanArts (Vancouver Institute of Media Arts)in August. They will teach a four-week intensive course in thefundamentals of classical animation. Both classical and computeranimation intensives are offered each July and August with special guestinstructors. For the past two years, Academy-Award winning Britishanimator Bob Godfrey and Bonita Versh, an art director/director fromKlasky Csupo, have been the guest instructors.
