Academy Award-nominated animator Bill Plympton creates “Film Noir,” a short film “Couch Gag” for an-all new episode of “The Simpsons” on FOX.
Sunday night, fans of The Simpsons will get to see Film Noir, an original “Couch Gag” short created by Academy Award-nominated animator Bill Plympton.
The next all-new episode of FOX TV’s long-running animated series The Simpsons, “Black-Eyed, Please,” airs this weekend on Sunday, March 10 at 8/7c on FOX.
Tina Fey and Richard Dawkins make guest-voice appearances in an episode that sees Flanders become jealous when his laid-back parents start to prefer Homer’s company over his. Meanwhile, Lisa is distressed by her new substitute teacher (Fey), who bullies her for no apparent reason.

Plympton is currently working on his seventh animated feature, Cheatin'. The film is an adult tale of love, jealousy, revenge, and murder inspired by the works of James M. Cain (Double Indemnity and The Postman Always Rings Twice).
