Netflix Releases ‘Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie’ Trailer

The new 3DCG animated feature, based on the popular ‘Miraculous’ series, joins the Netflix Family Summer lineup on July 28.

Netflix has just shared the trailer for its upcoming 3DCG animated feature, Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie. The film follows ordinary teenager Marinette, whose life in Paris goes superhuman when she becomes Ladybug. Bestowed with magical powers of creation, Ladybug must unite with her opposite, Cat Noir, to save Paris as a new villain unleashes chaos unto the city.

The film’s story is written by Jeremy Zag, who also directs; the original screenplay is by Zag and Bettina López Mendoza. It’s produced by Aton Soumache, Zag, and Daisy Shang. Executive producers are Soumache, Zag, and Shang.

The voice cast includes Cristina Vee Valenzuela (Marinette / Ladybug); Bryce Papenbrook (Adrien / Cat Noir); Keith Silverstein (Gabriel Agreste / Hawk Moth); Carrie Keranen (Alya); Selah Victor (Chloé Bourgeois); Zeno Robinson (Nino); Chris Smith (Tom); Anne Yatco (Sabine); Paul St Peter (Wang Fu); Mela Lee (Tikki); Max Mittelman (Plagg); Cassandra Lee Morris (Sabrina); and Sabrina Weisz (Nathalie).

Key talent on the film includes Head of Visual Effects and Technology Pascal Bertrand; VFX Supervisor Rachid Chikh; Head of Character Animation Jack Vandenbroele; Animation Supervisors Ségolène Morisset, Boris Plateau, and Simon Cuisinier; Production Designers Nathanaël Bronn and Jerôme Cointre; Editor Yvann Thibaudeau; and Cameron Sonerson and Shannon Holtzapffel handling Choreography and Visualization. The animation is produced by ON Animation Studios Montréal.

The animated feature joins Netflix July 28.
