Henry Selick and Jordan Peele’s stop-motion animated tale about demon brothers summoned to the Land of the Living debuts Fall 2022; the star-studded voice cast includes Peele, Keegan-Michael Key, Angela Bassett, and James Hong.
Netflix just announced the cast for Wendell & Wild, the stop-motion animated film from Academy Award-nominee Henry Selick (Coraline, The Nightmare Before Christmas) and his co-writer, Academy Award winner Jordan Peele (Get Out, Us). The movie stars Peele as Wendell and Emmy award-winning Keegan-Michael Key (Key and Peele) as Wild. The movie hits the streamer globally in Fall 2022.
Netflix describes Wendell & Wild as an animated tale about scheming demon brothers Wendell and Wild who enlist the aid of 13-year-old Kat Elliot, a tough teen with a load of guilt, to summon them to the Land of the Living. But what Kat demands in return leads to a brilliantly bizarre and comedic adventure like no other; an animated fantasy that defies the law of life and death, all told through the handmade artistry of stop motion.
