Mediatoon Distribution secures new sales of "The Garfield Show," "Contraptus," and "Asertix" in Ecuador and Brazil.
Following Miptv, Paris-based distributor Mediatoon Distribution secured new sales with two of its partner’s countries in Latin America, Ecuador and Brazil.
Ecuador TV, the first public channel of Ecuador, has picked up a package of series including two seasons of The Garfield Show (104 x 11’), Contraptus (78 x8’) and the 3 animated feature films of Tintin (3 x 75’). These programs are scheduled to be broadcasted from next June.
Additionally, TV Cultura, the public Brazilian television network, also acquired 3 of the Asterix animated feature films: Asterix & Cleopatra, Asterix the Gaul, and Asterix, the Twelve Tasks.
Mediatoon already works with 8 countries in Latin America including Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chili and Uruguay, to whom Mediatoon has sold more than 600 hours of programming in less than 3 years.
Several of Mediatoon’s shows are broadcasted in all LATAM zone on HBO, Discovery and Cartoon Network such as Quiz Time or The Garfield Show.
