Exclusive Preview: Spike Trotman’s raunchy new supernatural graphic novel by ‘Godshaper’ co-creator Jonas Goonface follows a group of misfits on a mysterious, magical train, with no way to get off… the train at least.
Spike Trotman’s Iron Circus Comics, publisher of award-winning, critically-acclaimed graphic novels, which has raised nearly 5 million dollars via crowdfunding, has just revealed its first 2025 project: “The Unsinkable Ship of Fools.” And they’ve shared with AWN an exclusive look at the cover and first 5 pages of the book.
This all-new, raunchy supernatural graphic novel comes via breakout artist and “Godshaper” co-creator Jonas Goonface. “Unsinkable Ship of Fools” follows a mysterious magical train populated by “a group of mangey misfits with no way to get off… well, off the train, anyway.” Steeped in supernatural fantasy, mystery, suspense and romance, and written and illustrated by Goonface in his “gritty, grotesque, and fabulously filthy art style,” his project is now available on Kickstarter.
The publisher describes the graphic novel in mellifluent prose:
