The Times of India reports that thousands of Indian animation students have been left high and dry after several schools promising them jobs have closed. Over the past year such institutions as Nupur Media, Blue Media International, Shreya Darshi Media House, Global Media Ltd and Spike Media House have all closed their doors. Students who have paid between Rs 1 to 3 lakh are now left looking for employment in a very saturated field of applicants. Even worse, some students have found that the institutions aren't even registered.
