Imira Signs Pre-NATPE Deals for Lola, Vitaminix

Imira Ent. heads to NATPE with a raft of deals already in place for LOLA & VIRGINIA and VITAMINIX with U.S. and Latin American broadcasters.

Imira's hit animated series LOLA & VIRGINIA (52x12) has scored further deals with Canal Once in Mexico following Brazil's SBT renewal of the show. The Brazilian broadcaster has also picked up licensing and merchandising rights with New Star, taking home entertainment rights for the territory, and Quality Films picking up the home entertainment rights for Chile. LOLA & VIRGINIA is now seen in more than 100 territories worldwide.

VITAMINIX (104x2), also produced by Imira, has scored sales success with two U.S. Spanish-language channels, Somos TV and Mega TV, acquiring the healthy-eating kids show. Film Ideas has also picked up non theatrical rights in the U.S. and Canada.

Imira has also signed deals across its third party slate. Disney Latin America has taken 64 ZOO LANE (78x11) aimed at 2-6 year olds, Discovery Kids Latin America picked up new episodes of LOUIE (13x26, for a total of 39x26) and Discovery Hispanic U.S. has acquired all 39x30 episodes of LOUIE, both Millimages productions. Further deals include a sale of Planet Nemo's preschool series BALI (52x13) to U.S. Spanish-language channel Sorpresa!.

Highlights of Imira's NATPE line up include 64 ZOO LANE, THE KOALA BROTHERS, LOUIE and Imira's international hit series LOLA & VIRGINIA making up the animation slate with live action WICKED SCIENCE joining new show THE ELEPHANT PRINCESS in topping Imira's live action catalogue for the market.
