After not being consulted over a writer switch on the script for the fourth "Bourne" movie, director Paul Greengrass has exited the project, according to THE PLAYLIST.

According to the site, the first script from George Nolfi didn't please studio executives and that Josh Zemuter was hired to pen another version without Greengrass' knowledge.

The move could put Damon's involvement at stake since he's close to the director and already involved with in in other projects. THE PLAYLIST adds, however, that this could just be another "typical Paul move," and that he could wind up back on the project sooner than later.
