Seth Grahame-Smith has been tapped to pen the newest draft of Tim Burton's DARK SHADOWS adaptation, reports Deadline.com. Starring Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins, the film will begin production in April.
Depp’s Infinitum Nihil, Graham King’s GK Films and Dick Zanuck are producing. Warner Bros. will release the film. John August penned the first draft of the script.
The 1960s-70s supernatural soap followed Collins, a guilt-filled 175-year-old vampire who returns to his estate after escaping from a coffin where he had been chained for 200 years.
