DECODE Ent.'s mega-hit FRANNY'S FEET begins its third season in the U.S. on Nov. 3, 2008 on PBS KIDS, when the eponymous star will embark on thirteen new adventures in Austria, Tibet, Israel, Africa, Great Britain, and ancient Greece and Egypt.
FRANNY'S FEET, which is produced in association with Thirteen/WNET New York, is a proven international success commissioned by Five in the UK and Canada's Family Channel. It can be seen in over 150 countries around the world on channels that include ABC Australia, France 5, Cartoon Network in Japan, Canada's TeleQuebec, RAI in Italy, TVP Poland, Cartoon Network Taiwan, TV2 Denmark, and TV12 Singapore.
In a major licensing deal, PLAYSKOOL, a division of Hasbro, Inc., will be the worldwide master toy and game licensee for the show, with the first FRANNY'S FEET toys and games set to launch in Fall 2008. Simon and Schuster (Coloring and Activity Books) will launch 7 titles throughout 2008. Penguin Group USA (Story Readers) will launch 8 titles throughout 2008.
Beth Stevenson, Steven DeNure and Neil Court serve as executive producers for DECODE. Cathy Moss and Susan Nielsen are the series' creators. Kym Hyde is the producer. For Thirteen/WNET, Sandra Sheppard is executive producer and director of children's and educational programming; Jill Peters is executive producer and director of creative development; and Suzanne Rose is producer.
