The CW has picked up the spec script for the teen zombie drama AWAKENING, reports Deadline.com. Canadian writer-producers William Laurin and Glenn Davis penned the teleplay, which follows two rival sisters at the dawn of a zombie outbreak. Reveille and Warner Bros. TV will produce. Laurin, Davis, Howard T. Owens, Carolyn Bernstein and Todd Cohen will be exec producing.
