DISTRICT 9 star Sharlto Copley has left the cast of I AM NUMBER FOUR due to press obligations for A-TEAM, reports VARIETY. He will be replaced by JUSTIFIED star Timothy Olyphant.
D.J. Caruso is directing the film that follows nine aliens who hide out in high school on Earth. The alien race that wiped their people off their home planet comes to Earth to hunt them down. Alfred Gough, Miles Millar and Marti Noxon wrote the script.
Michael Bay is the producer with David Valdes, Chris Bender, J.C. Spink exec producing.
