BAF is the U.K.s biggest animation festival. Categories for consideration for both competition and panorama programs include: Non-professional, Professional, Promotional/Commercial, TV Series, Films for Children and Web Animation. This years categories have been changed to better reflect the industry itself. The former TV Series for Children category has become TV Series, to allow for the growth in adult-oriented programs; and Flash Animation has become Web Animation. In addition, three new overall prizes will be up for grabs at this years festival: Grand Prix, Best Newcomer and Audience Award. The event will be held at the National Museum of Photography, Film & Television. There is no submission charge. For more information, visit www.baf.org.uk.
