Los Angeles, California, USA – November 4, 2009 – The Los Angeles Professional Chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH and the Visual Effects Society present “Battlestar Galactica – Then and Now”. This one night only event will feature a panel of multi award-winning Special and Visual Effects industry professionals who worked on both the classic “original” series and the recently wrapped SyFy series.
A Panel Discussion lead by Gene Kozicki and Dan Curry will feature the following speakers from both series: Peter Anderson, Pierre Drolet, John Dykstra, Richard Edlund, Derek Ledbetter, Kyle Toucher

Admittance is free to members of the Los Angeles Chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH and the Visual Effects Society. Non-members may attend and pay a $ 20.00 visitor
registration fee. Anyone who joins the Los Angeles Chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH onsite at this event and pays the $ 40.00 annual membership fee, (cash or check only), will not have to pay the $ 20.00 visitor registration fee.
