Avid Technology Inc. announced the worldwide availability of Avid Studio Tools, a fully integrated software package designed exclusively for customers using Media Composer Adrenaline, NewsCutter Adrenaline FX, and NewsCutter XP systems. Avid Studio Tools includes three powerful content-creation applications: Avid 3D software, featuring industry-leading 3D animation and effects technology from Avid's Softimage product family; Avid FX software, based on the award-winning Boris Red compositing and titling package; and Avid DVD by Sonic, a DVD authoring application developed expressly for Avid by Sonic Solutions, the leader in DVD creation software.

Avid Studio Tools is available worldwide through Avid's worldwide reseller channel for $2,195. The package is designed to work with qualified Windows-based systems running Avid Media Composer Adrenaline 1.5, NewsCutter Adrenaline FX 5.5, and NewsCutter XP 5.5 systems or higher.
