Helmer Paul W.S. Anderson is set to direct THE THREE MUSKATEERS for a 3D film experience, notes the HollywoodReporter.
Anderson, best known for the RESIDENT EVIL film series and ALIEN VS. PREDATOR, will produce with his Impact Pictures partner Jeremy Bolt and Robert Kulzer of Constantin Film. Constantin will finance the production.
Anderson wrote the script with Andrew Davies (BRIDGET JONES’ DIARY, THE TAILOR OF PANAMA). MUSKATEERS tells the tale of d’Artagnan and the fencing trio: Athos, Porthos and Aramis. The Muskateers’ motto, “All for one and one for all!” will remain intact.
