Amazon’s ‘Tumble Leaf’ Springs Ahead with New Season Special

Emmy-winning stop-motion animated preschool series executive produced by Drew Hodges and Kelli Bixler debuts animated special ‘Spring-a-ling Surprise’ on April 4.

On Tuesday, April 4, “Spring-a-ling Surprise,” an adorable new seasonal special from Amazon’s award-winning children’s series Tumble Leaf, is all set to “spring” onto Prime Video.

In “Spring-a-ling Surprise,” everyone joins in to help Bloom the bunny hunt for his lost eggs, which he plans to plant for a spectacular spring surprise. And Fig the fox is very excited to discover many other signs of the new season all along the way.

Featuring inventive and colorful stop-motion animation, Tumble Leaf has garnered eight Daytime Emmy Awards, including for Outstanding Pre-School Children’s Animated Program. The series creator is Drew Hodges (Community, SNL) and the show is executive produced by Hodges and Kelli Bixler (The Roadents) of the award-winning studio Bix Pix Entertainment.

Tumble Leaf follows Fig, a small blue fox, who lives in a whimsical land where he discovers adventure, friendship and love around every bend. The series reinforces the importance of learning through play, as it helps children understand the world around them.
