Winners are announced for this year’s Licensing Awards, held on September 11 in the glittering surroundings of The Great Room at London’s prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel.
The Licensing Awards 2012 took place in the glittering surroundings of The Great Room at London’s prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel on September 11. Approaching 1,300 retailers, licensees, licensors and suppliers attended the event to honor the industry’s highest achievers. High profile comedian Russell Kane brought his own brand of humor to the event as host this year.
Ian Hyder, director of The Licensing Awards commented: “What a fantastic night for the licensing industry. It is absolutely extraordinary how much everyone ‘brought to the party’ this year. It is great to shine the spotlight on so many great achievements in licensing.”
Now in their seventh year, The Licensing Awards (created by The Licensing Source Book Europe, part of Max Publishing) celebrate the achievements of all aspects of the industry from retailers to products, licensed properties to marketing expertise. The headline sponsor for the event was Spring Fair International (part of i2i Events). A host of leading brands and companies sponsored individual awards categories, while industry trade association LIMA once again gave its support to the event.
