​I'm doing a research project at my unveristy on the animation industry and had some questions with how the business works...wondering if anyone can help shed some light on the below questions:

1. ​Do studios often work with out house animators (For example, freelancers, small studios, or abroad)
2. What goes into making a decision to work out house or keep in house?
3. What criteria is important for a studio typically when selecting a company to work with?
4. How are outsourced studios sourced for bidding on jobs to work with a studio?
