Hello!
My name is Mafalda and I’m the Producer and Lead Animator for a game project called:
Trickshot is a small game project with strong inspiration from games such as Mark of the Ninja and Trine, with a very strong toon-ish influence in the style of Adventure Time, Rayman or Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
Trickshot tells a story of a young girl - Addlëin - who wakes up one day to discover her older sister has been kidnapped! Alone and distressed, she leans into fear but then instead decides to fight, departing on a journey to save her big sister. The game focuses on a theme of personal growth and coming of age.
The game mixes known mechanics such as the precision shot of Angry Birds, a 2D sidecroller gameplay, the strategic play of The Last of Us, and elements of stealth - all into one tightly knit experience. In the game you will have to use ingenuity, strategy, aim and precision to reach your goal, many times cluttered by dangerous foes, deadly traps and perils.
We are currently looking to add an Animator to bring to life Trickshot's characters and environments. Our plan is to make a small demo - the tutorial level - and then pitch the idea to possible investors or promote it as much as we can, taking it onto Steam Greenlight and Kickstarter, run a campaign for it and - if successful - build the rest of the game, keeping in mind the possibility of expanding the IP.

Note: All team members have different occupations. Some work, some study, etc, so all kinds of people welcomed to join in.

The animation department:
Right now we are working on some pre-production pose work and rough animations, but we are starting soon to do the final animation work. Our method is working in steps - blocking animation, rough animation, cleanup, and final animation – all while adding a lot of revision and feedback in the mix to keep consistency within the animation team ;)
Funding: we don’t have any funding (at the moment) but as previously said: we’re aiming to have a strong prototype share and analyse the public's response, and then launch a Kickstarter campaign or similar. Any resulting revenue will be equally distributed among the team.
