My 2007 Grad Film

AWN's Show and Tell

Hey everyone,

I`ve decided to post my grad animation film from last year. If you have a moment, I`d be curious to know what you take away from the story. I`d initially set out to convey a fairly simple, albeit meaningful story but I`ve learned that no two people interpret it the same way. As far as I`m concerned, as long as I`ve been able to illicit an emotional response through the story, then I`ve succeeded.

The boat makes no impression of the sand as it is dragged across it. The very short bit of rowing has no real effort shown. Saying the story does have some appeal, but it is hard to decipher the true meaning. Home is the best treasure.
