Hey guys, I need advice.

Alright everyone, I'm the writer of a series called Uncaged. You can find out about it here. http://www.rcmedia.110mb.com/uncaged.

Now this is my situation, I have a really good artist, and he works with a team of guys in Indonesia. They do comics for a living. Anyways, they want to make a comic using my scripts as a guide. haha the thing is, I live in canada. Once we get the comic done, we want to pitch it to a comic distributor. I need advice on pitching the comic, how should we tackle this? and then, what would be a good way to communicate with these guys that are half way around the world. we just do email and thats it.

Now don't say not to do it or anything like that, because I already made up my mind. I just need some cleana dvice, what would you do in my shoes if you wanted to push forward?

We just got a bunch of character skteches finished and will be put on the website ASAP.

All I can say is, try to post it as a webcomic, and see if any distributors will want to buy your comic, and if they are interested I would start the negotiations from there...

that's my 0.02

also the fact your posting this on an animation forum instead of a comic forum might be strickening you.

Animation writer who loves...Animation!

Oh yea, the reason why I'm here in this forum is because Uncaged is actually written as an animation. it just turned out that we will be making a comic, then hopefully animation from there, if the comic does well so to say.

But yes, very good point about that. i wasn't thinking about that haha! I'll try a comic forum, anyways the question is still open to anyone if they want to give some advice, I'll be checking back.:D
