Just something to stare at and zone out. It might be a nice brain massage. (or it might freak you out...)
I love to see what unexpected patterns emerge when I do something like this (in Flash, of course):
- I made a looping movie clip of a wiggling line (8 shape-tweening squiggles)
- then I duplicated that wiggle MC and rotated/arranged into a radial pattern
- embedded that radial MC into three MC's; each rotating at 3 different speeds
- I skewed/squished those 3 MC's into an oval MC
- then made 4 copies of that oval MC, rotating/arranging them into another radial pattern
This is going to become part of a larger effect sequence, but I thought I'd share it in this form.
