Hi. I am reworking my short to see if I can use it in my student reel. One thing I would like to do is more transitions. I was wondering if there are any resources related to Flash or traditional 2D transitions like wipes and so on?
For example I did this quick test

I want to have the fish fly by and a few come in closer to the camera and wipe to the new scene. I'm not sure how to set it up. Looks a little like a giant fish among other problems. Also was trying to see if I could mask the fish contour and animate the mask so it wipes from behind as they fly - just haven't figured it out yet.
We have Premiere at the school so I guess I could render out each individual scene and use that for transitions but love to understand 'old school' way if there are any tips or tricks.
