Y'know.......I keep finding out just how many people have never heard of this magazine.
Published by Twomorrows Publications, who print a whole mess of really good comics-related magazines, this is the best how-to mag on the market.
Assembled by Mike Manley and crew, its a quarterly run-though of various means of creating comics, animation and like-crafts. The work in this mag is ALWAYS professional and there's something of use/value in very issue.
They cover a mostly comics-related selection of subjects, but they have devoted more and more space to animation. There is something here for anyone looking to better their work.
Last year they started releasing compilations of earlier issues--which means you get a treasure trove in a single larger volume.
You can order the mag, and back issue from the company itself--they have an online presence--and for $6.95 USD you just cannot go wrong.
A lot of newcomers ask for good reading/reference materials and this magazine is centerpiece in my reccommended list.

They're putting out a DVD/ 2 magazine set I've been looking at. There's just precious little footage of pros drawing and inking, but it's always more instructive to me than a description. I guess I should get a compilation, at least.
