Just wondering which of you out there knows which program does a better job of converting bitmap images into vector: Flash or streamline? I know how it does in flash and I've never been too impressed with it. Those of you who have used Streamline also, do you think it does a better job and give a cleaner vector line?
Let me know your thoughts...I,m thinking about purchasing Streamline for future projects but need to know first if it is definitely better than Flash's capabilities.

..but I haven't ever used Flash to trace vector images!

I have, however, used Streamline for years. It has a lot of flexibility in allowing you to adjust tolerances, points and what-not. Batch processing as well, I believe.

Anyhoo, as I say, I can't speak for Flash on this one, but I do like Streamline!

Cheers!

I downloaded the demo and it seemed like one of the filters in Photoshop. For that matter, I'd say it's pretty effective in the realm of line-arting line art. A strong possibility exists I misunderstood its intentions though.

I recommend using Streamline over the Trace Bitmap feature in Flash... much better control.
