TGSNT 2005 Anyone?

Probably one of the contests with the best rewards.
The purpose is to promote the use of Flash (or anything that exports SWF format).. but this time around you'll be able to use 3D packages as well.

Deadline's coming up mid-Feb 2005. Anyone joining?

Btw did anyone submit to the first TGSNT (this year's)? Just want to know your thoughts :D

Yep, I'm entering. I didn't enter the 1st one because I didn't have my animation done in time. I did like a lot of the final selections that were chosen, so I expect competition to be steep. Did you enter the 1st one?

now does this alow, what i prefer to call a teaser for a series?

about a minute long and hase bree segments of conversation with quick jokes is that acceptable?

Sharvonique, yah same here i didn't get to enter the first one but definitely working towards the upcoming one right now ... so hope to see yours up there too!

Chason, if you check under the genre/categories there's one that says 'trailer' so I suppose it's ok.

And I agree with xngo, Chason. I think what you described would fall under the trailer category, so you should be able to submit it as long as it follows the other requirements.

well aside from me looking up words and things mine should be eligable

now when it says studnet does it mean collage student or am i a student because i am still in highschool?

Whether you're in high school or college, you are considered a student because you are enrolled in an institution of study and learning. You can send in a copy of your current school schedule as proof of your student status.

I spoke with Nicholas Da Silva, the creator of the contest and of FlashTV.com. He's a great guy and he sincerely believes in giving artists an outlet to showcase their work.
