Jeffrey Tambor, Dannah Feinglass and Chris Parnell headline a one-time-only, live onstage reading of the Emmy-winning hit animated series, WORDGIRL. Soup2Nuts animation studio (a division of Scholastic Media) and UCBTLA will spotlight WORDGIRL's cast of top comic actors and stand-up comedians. Series creators, writers and cast members will take audience questions about the show following the reading.
WORDGIRL is the popular animated series about mild-mannered Becky Botsford, whose secret identity is the crime-fighting superhero. WordGirl and her monkey sidekick Captain Huggy Face battle wacky villains with their super strength and super vocabulary. The show airs nationally on PBS KIDS GO!
Tickets are $5 and the show is at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Hollywood (5919 Franklin Ave.) on January 22, 2009 at 8 p.m.
